British billionaire Nick Candy is another candidate who has emerged as a possible buyer for Chelsea.

The Blues are up for sale as Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich is in the process of divesting his assets.

Abramovich announced his intentions to sell after owning the team for nearly 20 years.

Several potential owners are already linked with the club, with Swiss billionaire Hansjorg Wyss said to be forming a consortium to make a bid.

Another who is linked with the club is Nick Candy, abillionaire who wants to expand his portfolio into English sports.

Abramovich wants £3 billion for the club, while The Sun claims Candy is worth around £830 million.

That indicates he is also likely to form a consortium if he is to make a successful bid.
