SHAH ALAM, March 24 — Selangor citizens are reminded to download the Smart Selangor Parking (SSP) mobile app as all parking fees payment in the state will be conducted digitally beginning April 1.
Smart Selangor on Facebook said the usage of e-coupons would smoothen the payment process and that the transaction is secured.
“Let us download the SSP app which is definitely easier, faster and secure!,” it said on Facebook.
Smart Selangor also shared an infographic on how to use the e-coupon alongside the post.
The steps to use e-coupons are as follows:
- Pay the parking fees and top-up credit value via the SSP app or;
- Pay the parking fees via nearest e-coupon agents and;
- Credit value could be topped up at 7-Eleven, 99 Speedmart and MyPOSpay

The Selangor administration had phased out the use of scratch parking coupons and implemented e-coupons via the SSP app, which is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
However, the scratch parking coupons are still in use until the end of March to allow the users to finish up the coupons they have in hand, and unused vouchers that could not be used up can be redeemed after March.
