SANDAKAN: Marine police detained two fishing boats with illegally harvested sea cucumber worth RM1,752 from Vietnamese nationals who encroached Sandakan waters on Thursday.
Also detained were 12 Vietnamese fishermen aged between 28 and 51.
Sabah Marine Police Region Four Commander ACP Ahmad Ariffin said the fishing boats were detected entering Sandakan waters without permission.
