Championship club Nottingham Forest are beginning contract talks with in-form midfielder Ryan Yates.
The 24-year-old, who is an immense present at 6ft 3in, has 31 league appearances and four goals as a central midfielder this term.
According to the Mirror, Forest are hoping to secure him to a new deal to avoid summer interest from Premier Legaue clubs.
He will only have a year left on his deal at the end of this season, along with youngster Brennan Johnson.
Forest are prioritizing securing both players to new deals, as they want to ensure any future sales happen on their terms.
