Everton boss Frank Lampard says Dominic Calvert-Lewin could feature against Newcastle tomorrow night.
Calvert-Lewin has made only nine appearances in an injury-hit season for the Toffees, and missed Sunday's 1-0 loss to Wolves through illness.
"Dominic trained lightly yesterday off the back of not feeling great, so we will see how he is again this afternoon and then look towards the squad for tomorrow," Lampard said.
There is hope that Fabian Delph will again be available after the upcoming international break, while Yerry Mina is also "a few weeks away at best".
Lampard was asked what he expects from his Everton players against Newcastle.
“To perform as well as we can and win the game.
"It's the same story with the atmosphere, the players have to play at a level of passion that engages the fans.
"Tomorrow I'm just expecting everyone together fighting."
