The Morocco defender is off contract in June and is in contact with Barca about a Bosman move.
He is trying to seal a few things related to the deal that is expected to be signed with Mazraoui, says Sport.
His potential arrival would end the debate over that spot that has taken place since 2016, when Dani Alves left.
He would follow fellow Bosman prospects Andreas Christensen (Chelsea) and Franck Kessie (AC Milan) in.
Mazraoui likes the idea of playing at Camp Nou and has turned down better economic offers to do so.
