Manchester City endured a tough contest to overcome Championship side Peterborough United in the FA Cup fifth-round.

Second-half goals from Riyad Mahrez and Jack Grealish were enough for City to seal a 2-0 victory at London Road.

The Posh - who are bottom of the Championship - should have been ahead but Sammie Szmodics missed a great opportunity.

Mahrez then opened the scoring after 60 minutes with City's first shot on target.

England star Grealish doubled the lead just seven minutes later to book City's place in the quarter-finals.
