Barcelona remain interested in Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta.
With his contract running down this season, Azpilicueta saw Chelsea trigger a new 12 month option days before the club was seized from owner Roman Abramovich by the UK government.
Despite the new agreement, Mundo Deportivo says Barca remain keen.
Barca coach Xavi is a big fan of Azpilicueta, while inside the club he is being likened to former captain Carles Puyol.
As such, Barca intend to hold talks with Chelsea for the defender once the club's new owner is settled.
