Leicester City goalkeeper Daniel Iversen is proud of his Denmark call.

The 24 year-old, who is on-loan with Preston North End, has been selected for Denmark's two friendlies this week against the Netherlands and Serbia.

"It is big. You could say this is my first real selection. The last time was because Rønnow was injured, so this is my first real selection now, and I am of course proud and happy about that," says Iversen.

Leicester teammate Kasper Schmeichel remains Denmark's senior No1.

Iversen added: "He helped me a lot in Leicester when I first arrived. It was a big leap for me to get from Esbjerg to Leicester, so he was good at helping me."
