Mohamed Salah is taking his contract stand-off with Liverpool personally.

The Athletic reports Liverpool could be forced to consider selling Salah if the player's contract situation is not resolved soon, it has been claimed.

The contract stand-off between the two parties is largely down to “money, respect and recognition" that Salah is said to feel he deserves.

The report states that Liverpool and FSG want to hand Salah a new deal but not at any price.

It goes on to say that if no agreement is reached by the end of the season, then Liverpool “have a decision to make" and consider offers for the £100m valued player - or risk losing him for free in 2023.
