Christian Pulisic scored a hat-trick to help the USA toa crucial 2022 World Cup qualifying win.
The Americans, who failed to qualify for 2018 in Russia, went ahead 3-0 inside the opening 30 minutes.
Chelsea winger Pulisic opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 17th minute.
Paul Arriola doubled the advantage thanks to a superb pass from Antonee Robinson.
Gregg Berhalter's side met it 3-0 just four minutes later through Jesus Ferreira.
Pulisic had his penalty-kick brace in first-half stoppage time before scoring a terrific solo goal to make it 5-0.
Anibal Godoy grabbed a consolation goal for Panama with four minutes remaining.
