Newcastle United plan to visit Saudi Arabia during the domestic break for this year's World Cup finals.

Eddie Howe and Co have already made one trip to their owners' country and are now looking into an extended stay — with games thrown in.

Many Premier League clubs are plotting how to spend their spare time when the World Cup finals are on in Qatar this winter.

Some outfits have plans to visit far-flung places — and may even play in friendly competitions.

But Newcastle only have one destination in mind and that is their Saudi owners' home country, says The Sun.

The Magpies travelled to the Arab state in January shortly after their £305million takeover.
