SULABAYAN Assemblyman Datuk Jaujan Sambakong wants the government to improve professional learning courses at state-owned higher learning institutions (IPTs) such as Universiti Kolej Yayasan Sabah and Institut Pertanian Timbang Menggaris.
“Instead of focusing only on building and upgrading comfortable learning centres for students in Sabah, the focus must also be on providing professional learning courses that are recognised at international level,” he said when debating the Head of State’s policy speech at the State Assembly.
