Norwich City boss Dean Smith is happy for Thomas Frank over his success with Brentford.

Frank was Smith's No2 when he was manager of the Bees.

Smith said, “I had three great years at Brentford. You could see the direction they were going in.

"It's nice to see Thomas (Frank) as the head coach, having been my assistant."

Norwich host Brentford on Saturday.

Smith said of Christian Eriksen's return: “Everyone is so pleased to see Christian back playing football.

"They're a strong squad and they've proven that this season."
