Elche midfielder Javier Pastore is facing a lengthy ban after being sent off in defeat against Barcelona.
Pastore saw red in the 88th minute, when he was on the bench. Pastore insulted the referee after a late clash between teammate Pere Milla and Jordi Alba in which VAR was ignored.
El Flaco protested angrily and ref Alejandro Hernández Hernández included the incident in his minutes.
"Javier Matías (Pastore) was expelled for the following reason: Addressing me in the following terms: "son of a b***h" being heard by the fourth referee," Hernández Hernández listed in his match notes.
