Kota Kinabalu: Tuaran MP Datuk Seri Wilfred Madius Tangau wants to know why Malaysia did not send a representative to the French arbitration court following a suit by the defunct Sulu Sultanate over the breach of land lease agreement.
He said this non-representation resulted in the victory of the claimants where Malaysia has been instructed to pay US$14.92bil (RM62.6bil) following the breach of the 1878 land lease agreement.
