Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says Oleksandr Zinchenko will play in the FA Cup against Peterborough on Tuesday.
Zinchenko has been watching from afar as his home country of Ukraine has been invaded by Russia.
The left-back cut an emotional figure as an unused sub at Goodison Park last weekend.
"I think it will be good for him to play and show the reason why he is here," said Guardiola.
"He is a magnificent player [and] needs to play football."
