Tottenham have reached the final of the Under-17 Premier League Cup with a 3-1 win over Charlton Athletic on Wednesday night.

Rio Kyerematen, Jamie Donley and Charlie Sayers were on target at Dartford FC as Spurs earned a spot in the final against Manchester City.

“We played really well on the night and thoroughly deserved the victory," said Spurs coach Stuart Lewis to the club's website. “It was an outstanding performance in a good game inside a stadium and there was a really good energy around the group.

“We could've been a bit more clinical in the final third but we were excellent throughout and it was a real, honest team display, the work ethic and desire was evident and I'm really proud of the boys to get to a final.

"We want to create that winning mentality for our young players and the boys thoroughly deserve to celebrate and enjoy the moment. It was a really good evening for the players and the Academy and we're really looking forward to the final against Manchester City now."

Tottenham line-up: Gunter, Andiyapan, Meghoma (Chaplin 78), Willhoft-King, Dorrington, Sayers, McKnight, Abbott, Donley, Kyerematen (Amo-Ameyaw 75), Williams.
