Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane says Cristiano Ronaldo was "angry" during his hat-trick performance against Tottenham.
The 37-year-old scored all three goals in his Manchester United's 3-2 win against Spurs on Saturday, including a sensational long range strike and a towering header to win the match.
Keane said in the post-match review: "That's where United are at. We've seen the quality of both teams wasn't that great, but it was entertaining and Ronaldo stepped up to the plate. He looked angry today, a lot of aggression in his play
"Whatever's gone on in the last week or two, he's obviously upset with something. But he showed today what we've seen over the years, the guy's a genius. He's brilliant.
"He brings so much to this team. Why do people think Ronaldo can't play in this team or that he can't add value? The performance wasn't fantastic but they got the job done and won it."
