The son of Inter Milan legend Giacinto Facchetti insists anything is possible at Liverpool tonight.
Inter go to Anfield needing to overturn a 2-0 deficit to reach the Champions League quarterfinals.
Facchetti scored in the 3-0 defeat of Liverpool in 1965 and son Gianfelice told TMW: "Every time we play against Liverpool my memory goes there, the story is there, to be an example, but the comparisons stop there because it is difficult to make them 60 years later and the forces on the field are also different.
"After having seen the match against Salernitana we can say that perhaps we are finding the key to the problem: the attackers have returned to scoring after a period of mental fatigue, justified by the many commitments.
"In football there is nothing impossible, even if we know that we are facing one of the strongest teams in Europe. I expect Inter to play their part and then we'll see. On the other hand, this team has accustomed us that it can amaze and surprise."
