Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers admits the could made as many as six additions this summer.
Rodgers is seeking to overhaul his squad.
“You might be looking up to five or six players," Rodgers said when asked what a refresh might look like. “It's only natural. We are nearly at the end of a cycle of working for three years together. By the time we get to the summer, it will be three-and-a-half years.
“You need to reintroduce more hunger to the team, more quality to the team. If we're going to compete, we have to do that, that's the reality.
“You can't continue with the same players season after season. For the players themselves, they need competition.
"Competition is a great coach for a player. If they have someone who can come and take their place, then that raises their levels.
“For us to progress, that's something we most definitely have to do. To compete with the teams that are going to be challenging at the higher end of the league, that's what you have to do."
