Richarlison says he is fully committed to Everton.
Frank Lampard replaced the sacked Rafa Benitez at the end of January - and the Brazilian has revealed that he has told his new boss that he prefers to play in the number nine role.
He said: “We have enormous confidence and belief in the manager and want to give our maximum for him on the pitch. He won so much as a player and it is time to transfer that success to Everton.
“I had a long conversation with the manager this week and he asked me about my preferred position. It is number nine, partly because that is where I play for the national team.
“But I was very clear that I will give absolutely everything, wherever he wants me to play. I will do my best and honour the shirt and help him as much as possible, whether it is in the middle or out wide.
“My ambition is always to contribute to the team's success, with goals and assists but also through hard work and running and tackling and occupying defenders."
Before Richarlison concluded: “I want to be someone my teammates can count on. We have a difficult and important game at Tottenham on Monday and there is a real determination to improve our away form.
“The manager has talked a lot about the need for more consistency and as players we know the performances can't keep going up and down.
“This is a chance to start showing we can produce our best every week. The focus is on the short term because of our situation in the league. But my longer-term ambitions are unchanged.
“I have said for a long time I want to make history in an Everton shirt and score lots of goals here. I believe I can have a wonderful career at this club."
