
KUALA LUMPUR – Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari has been confirmed to have tested positive for Covid-19.
In a Twitter post tonight, the Sungai Tua assemblyman apologised for any inconvenience that he has caused as a result.
“I have been found to be Covid-19 positive, based on a screening earlier this afternoon.
“I apologise for any inconvenience caused based on this development. Anyone who has had any interactions with me should follow the proper health protocols.
“Pray for me and my family. Thank you,” said Amirudin.

Earlier, his press secretariat had also issued a statement, saying that the menteri besar will be undergoing a seven-day self-quarantine period according to the Health Ministry’s Covid-19 protocols.
