In their effort to avoid bad weather during the Indonesian leg of the MotoGP at the Mandalika International Street Circuit, organisers thought it would be a good idea to call in the help of a shaman make the rain/bad weather go away.

The incident shocked not only those in attendance but also fans around the world, who were speechless at the image of a lady walking around with a metal bowl, bare foot and attempting to stop the rain.

How did the Shaman attempt to stop the rain? Well in the beginning, the lady was seen walking barefoot and smiling at the cameras while carrying a brass pot.

Beaming at the cameras, we’re sure the Angmohs are dumbfounded at the sight that they were seeing. But, for the sake of winning, why not right?

Did it work? Well, based on the footage at the circuit we don’t think so.

The race still went on despite the not so fit for racing conditions. They have wet tyres for this, anyway.

We guess Indonesians really know the true meaning of sports entertainment.
