West ham fear Jarrod Bowen's foot injury is worse than first feared.
The 25-year-old sustained the injury during the Hammers' 1-0 loss to Liverpool over a fortnight ago and he has been out since.
West Ham had hoped Bowen would return to action soon after releasing a statement which stated he did not suffer 'significant damage'.
The Athletic reports Bowen now faces 'a race against time' to be available for the Europa League quarter-final clash against Lyon due to a fractured bone in his foot.
The Ligue 1 side will visit the London Stadium on April 7 before West Ham travel to France the following week.
