
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah is set to push ahead with the expansion project of its Sapanggar Port to boost the state’s potential as the trade gateway to the BIMP-EAGA region, and improve connectivity to international markets.
In the way forward, Sabah Economic Development and Investment Authority (Sedia) has inked a First Tier ICP Agreement (FTIA) and main procurement contract on the Proposed Expansion of Sapanggar Bay Container Port, with WCT Holdings Bhd and joint-venture partner, China Communications Construction Company (M) Sdn Bhd (WCJV).
