Marca says Ferran Torres has recommended the club pursue a deal for Zinchenko.
Having signed in January from Manchester City, the Spanish forward has communicated with Joan Laporta, Mateu Alemany and Xavi about the possibility of signing the Ukrainian for the 2022/23 season.
In a report published by Fichajes.net, Torres spoke glowingly about the defender, who sees his contract with Manchester City expire in June of 2024.
The English club are willing to sell him in order to sign a player who can better compete with Joao Cancelo for the starting spot at left-back, and this would attract Barcelona due to the fairly reasonable financial demands.
