Kota Kinabalu: Former Sen. Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr said there is no need for the Philippines to be in conflict with super power countries and Asean neighbours, including over the nagging claim over Sabah.

Marcos Jr, a frontrunner for the May presidential election, felt the defunct Sulu sultanate’s claim over Sabah should have been addressed through bilateral talks and not otherwise.
