Rice reveals 'motivational speech' from Moyes inspired West Ham win over Sevilla (just speech paragraph of rice quotes)
West Ham United star Declan Rice has credited manager David Moyes with his side's win over Sevilla in the Europa League.
The Hammers were going into the game 1-0 down on aggregate, but won 2-0 at home after extra time to progress to the next stage.
The London club are now in the quarter-finals, having dispatched of the Europa League specialists in Sevilla.
Post-game, Rice told reporters: "The manager deserves massive credit.
"When he came in, we weren't performing as a team. Before the game he gave a great speech, a motivational speech, that really spurred us on.
"I'm lost for words. Just walking around the pitch at the end, taking it all in. Everything about the night was so, so special."
