Barcelona defender Daniel Alves was full of praise for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema last night.
PSG were at one stage 2-0 ahead on aggregate before a 17 minute hat-trick from Benzema saw Real win the Champions League round 16 tie 3-2 and reach the quarterfinals.
On social media, after originally mocking Real Madrid, Alves was prepared to eat humble pie following Benzema's performance.
“I don't care if he is from Madrid, but what a player, what a player Karim Benzema!!!!" declared Alves.
