LAHAD DATU: Esscom will no longer allow structures to be built without permission in waters in Esszone districts to prevent these huts (pondohan) being used for planning kidnappings, robberies and smuggling.
Four such huts suspected of being staging points for cross-border criminal elements were demolished in an operation dubbed “Gasak Laut” (Op Gasak) in waters off Hammerhead, here, on Saturday.
