The Belgian was hoping to make his mark on the Premier League, after leaving Manchester United to join Inter Milan in Serie A.
Despite winning the Scudetto in Italy, Lukaku promptly returned to Chelsea for a £97 million fee last summer.
He has struggled to make the starting spot his own, and has often been isolated in matches.
According to Football Insider, Lukaku wants to leave the club in the summer.
He wants to play for a team that uses him to his strengths, as he feels that Chelsea's style does not bring out the best in his play.
