American financial giant Goldman Sachs are advising a consortium led by LA Dodgers part-owner Todd Boehly to buy Chelsea.
The part-owner of the baseball giants is among the many bidders for Chelsea, with Roman Abramovich putting the club up for sale.
According to Sky Sports, Swiss billionaire Hansjorg Wyss and Jonathan Goldstein are also a part of the same consortium, along with backing from California-based investment firm Clearlake Capital, who have roughly $60 billion in assets.
Times columnist Daniel Finkelstein and American PR legend Barbara Charone are also a part of this consortium.
There are other bidders for Chelsea, while reports worldwide have also suggested a Saudi Arabian consortium may also be interested in the club.
