Kota Kinabalu: The second wife of Abu Sayyaf sub-leader Mudzrimar alias Mundi Sawadjaan and bomb maker wanted by the Sabah Eastern Zone Security Command (Esscom), was arrested on Sunday in Barangay Tulay, Jolo, Sulu, for illegal possession of explosives and bomb-making equipment.
The recovery of an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) last week prompted simultaneous joint law enforcement support operations by the Joint Task Force–Sulu and the Philippine National Police, which resulted in the arrest.
