Chelsea may have to sell young players to fund their summer transfer plans.

The Blues were big spenders in the summer, securing Romelu Lukaku for manager Thomas Tuchel.

However, the situation surrounding Russian owner Roman Abramovich and his nation's invasion of Ukraine has put a spotlight on Chelsea.

The Telegraph suggests that with Abramovich taking a back seat at Chelsea for the time being, the club may have to sell if they want to fund significant purchases.

The likes of Armando Broja, who is on loan at Southampton, and Faustino Anjorin are among those who may be sold.

Both players are being linked permanently to the Saints, while there are likely to be other suitors as well.
