KOTA MARUDU: A government doctor was deceived by a Macau scam syndicate into parting with RM63,950 after telling her that she owed RM228,000 to the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN).
Kota Marudu OCPD Supt Zairolnizal Ishak said the 31-year-old doctor was contacted via phone by someone who introduced himself as a LHDN officer at 1.50pm on Saturday.
