Ajax coach Erik ten Hag has ducked advice offered by Louis van Gaal on joining Manchester United.

The former United manager said in midweek that the Ajax boss should turn down a move to Old Trafford, branding his former employers as a 'commercial club'. And it seems the 52-year-old has no intention of speaking out on the matter.

When asked about Van Gaal's comments following Ajax's 3-1 win over Groningen, he said: "I don't want to react to it. We are in a title race, all focus is on that."

The Dutchman was then quizzed on whether he'd wait until the end of the season to make things regarding his future clear.

And he shrugged off that question by saying: "You don't need to ask me again."
