Argentine superstar Lionel Messi will stay at Paris Saint-Germain for next season.

The creative attacker is being linked with a move away, with a return to Barcelona mooted in the Spanish press in recent months.

However, Sky Sports claim that Messi will be a PSG player next term.

While the club are not happy with the team's displays in the Champions League this season, they have confidence that Messi, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappe - if he renews his contract - can still play key roles next term.

One who is unlikely to remain is Messi's countryman, coach Mauricio Pochettino.

Despite winning Ligue 1, Pochettino is facing the sack at PSG for poor Champions League displays.

Tottenham boss Antonio Conte is among those being linked with the PSG job for next term.
