SANDAKAN: Dozens of Ramadan bazaar vendors here suffered losses after heavy rain and strong wind damaged their outlets and food items today.
Strong wind scattered the foodstuff on the street and blew away their tents.
Several houses were also damaged as strong wind uprooted zinc roofs.
Earlier, the Meteorological Department issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong wind on their Facebook channel.
The public have been reminded to be aware of the weather and to take precaution accordingly.
