NEC Nijmegen veteran Lasse Schone has urged Christian Eriksen to leave Brentford and return to Ajax.
Off contract in June, Eriksen is being linked with former club Tottenham, while Newcastle are also keen.
However, fellow Dane Schone told Ajax Showtime: "I do not know what he will do, but I would personally like to see him return to Ajax.
"It is both on a personal level, but also as an enthusiast that I want to see him in Ajax.
"He also loves Amsterdam and still talks to many of those he used to play with there."
