Leeds United midfielder Jack Harrison was delighted scoring in victory over Watford.
Leeds aren't now in action for 16 days due to Chelsea's involvement in the FA Cup and Harrison has explained how crucial it was for the Whites to win before that break.
He told LUTV: "We know how crucial it was coming into the game, we have been training hard and preparing well all week.
"We were ready for a big game and that's exactly what we did today. It was a tough game in the first-half but it started to open up a bit for us in the second and we were good enough to get the result.
"Jesse has made a big point on scoring the first goal and how crucial it is for any team, the stats show that. We were really pushing in the first-half to get the first goal. We knew they needed points as well, so we were weary of that. But the main thing is we did everything we could do score the first goal.
"It is tough when everything is on the line, it is always hard to remain composed, reduce the amount of errors. It was a tough game for both sides but fortunately enough we came away with the result."
"I'm doing a lot off the pitch to analyse my game and outline different ways to improve, Harrison added. "I have been working hard on that and I am happy to get a goal today."
