Brighton boss Graham Potter joked he'd like to reject his Manager of the Month award.
Since Mikel Arteta landed the honour for March, Arsenal have lost twice and have also seen two key players suffer serious injuries.
Potter said, "Arsenal have been fantastic before. It's probably the curse of the manager of the month award, so I'll make sure I never get one of them!"
On victory at the Gunners, Potter added: "I'm really pleased, obviously that's an understatement. It was a really good performance and an even better result.
"It's not easy to win here with the quality they have. They are a team pushing for the Champions League so you know they have the quality and you know you have to suffer.
"I'm really pleased for the boys because we have had a tough time."
