Hull City owner Acun Ilicali has ruled out signing Mesut Ozil this summer.
The former Arsenal star is out of favour with Turkish SuperLig club Fenerbahce.
Rumours have linked Ozil with a return to England with Hull, but Turkish owner Ilicali says it will not happen.
Speaking exclusively to HullLive, licali said: "No, they [Ryan Babel who had also been linked] are not coming. Mesut is happy in Turkey.
"He's a very good friend of mine and if he's happy in Turkey, why should I ask him to come to England again?"
