AC Milan captain Alessio Romagnoli has rejected claims he's made a public commitment to Lazio.
Il Messaggero suggested after the 2-1 Milan victory at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday evening that Romagnoli spoke to some Lazio fans and told them: 'if it was up to me, I'd join tomorrow.'
However, Romagnoli has hit back with a message on social media.
“I don't understand how a newspaper can just invent, out of nowhere and with no respect, a phrase like that," he stated.
Off contract in June, Romagnoli is being linked with a move to Lazio.
