Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is happy for Jurgen Klopp over his new Liverpool contract.
Klopp has penned a new deal to 2026.
Guardiola said, "Congratulations to Jurgen and Liverpool, it's really good for the Premier League. I wish them all the best.
"Everyone has their situation and if we (his backroom team and family) decide to stay longer, it's because I decide, not because my colleague Jurgen extended.
"It's six seasons together, so many years. I am enjoying this part of the season and I have time. I have an incredible relationship with my club, chairman and chief executive."
Guardiola's current deal runs to the end of next season.
"I am incredibly happy," he added. "I could not be in a better place than where I am now, here. I cannot visualise a better place. But it isn't just about me. We will take the decision we will take."
