Rumours first emerged last year of Liverpool watching Vieira, but the player signed a new contract which includes a reported €50m release clause.
Now, Vieira's cousin has been speaking to the Portuguese media about those links and rumoured interest from Liverpool.
“If Klopp has already touched on Fabio's name, as he has done with others, it's because at Liverpool they are attentive to the younger ones," Mara Vieira told Antena 1.
“From there, it's a matter of waiting, but it seems to me that he's doing well at FC Porto, which is also a high-level club. There is no great anxiety to change, unless a great opportunity arises."
