Sevilla defender Jules Kounde is ready to return to the negotiating table with Chelsea.
The France international saw a move last summer fall through as the two clubs ran out of time to negotiate a price for his transfer.
However, Chelsea have remained in contact and are ready to try again after Toni Rudiger's decision to leave when his deal expires in June.
The Times says Kounde is happy to learn Chelsea are still keen and is eager to see the move happen 12 months on.
Kounde's agents have let Chelsea know he will jump at a move to London if terms with Sevilla can be struck.
