TAWAU: Police detained nine local men and are looking for another for allegedly fighting at Kubota Square, here, midnight Sunday, which went viral.
Tawau police chief ACP Jasmin Hussin said two people were injured in the fight and the suspects had been remanded for between two and four days to facilitate investigation for fighting and theft.
A complainant said they had lost a gold chain believed snatched by one of the suspects, said Jasmin.
The brawl which erupted over staring was captured in a 1min-52sec clip.
