Manchester United legend Roy Keane slammed the performance of Marcus Rashford after defeat at Liverpool.

Speaking on Sky Sports after the match, Keane was less than impressed with what he saw from the visitors, singling out Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard as two players he believes need to be sold.

“This Manchester United team are well short on talent - they're not as talented as they think," Keane said.

“Then not to have the rest of it to back it up, the fighting spirit, energy.

"Jesse Lingard is coming on to try and save Man United. Jesse Lingard should have left Man United two years ago. He's not good enough.

"Rashford played like a child up front. OK he wasn't getting service, but the one or two bits he got in the first-half when you think he's in on goal, a poor touch."
