Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB) needs to achieve sustainability in order for it to be an independent company or handed over to the State Government, said Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) Chairman Datuk Seri Hasan Arifin.

He said no progress has been made regarding the matter as TNB – the main stakeholder of the utility company – is currently focusing on ensuring SESB will be a sustainable company.
